DiaPure® filter material traps phosphorus on the surface.
The smartest thing is that phosphorus can also release from the surface. This means that we can alternately capture phosphorus from wastewater and then release phosphorus to collect it as fertilizer.
The phosphorus which is extracted from the filter during regeneration is recovered as a solid phosphate salt that can be used as fertilizer. Hence, valuable phosphorus is recycled which add yet another sustainable dimension to the DiaPure filter material.
