Used phosphorus saturated filter material can be regenerated.
During regeneration the phosphorus is extracted from the material. After regeneration the filter material is ready for a new cycle of phosphorus filtering.
This process extends the life time of the material and adds to the sustainability of the system.
Regeneration can take place locally or at DiaPure AB.

Wetland/agricultural drainage
We can calculate capacity and provide phosphorus removal filter material for wetland projects.
When constructing wetlands, there is a risk of phosphorus leakage when changing the hydraulic conditions. If the soil becomes deoxygenated, phosphorus is released and flows downstream. With a compact filter with the possibility of regeneration, you can get a solution to the problem on a small surface. Simple annual maintenance guarantees a functioning purification for many years to come.
The creation of wetlands of various kinds is often a longer process. We are happy to be involved from the beginning and have tools to calculate nutrient leakage, especially phosphorus and the need for purification. We have in-depth knowledge in wetlands and soil chemistry and can advise and make simpler calculations in climate adaptation issues.

Together with partners, we can offer a complete solution for e.g. coastal sewage treatment plants for polishing processed water. Our filters also take copper, arsenic and some drug residues.
Rainwater
DiaPure® works well for stormwater management. Either as an infiltration bed or as a closed filter for regeneration. We cooperate with producers of containers and can advise in design and calculations for infiltration bed.
